Many of those who attended the European Forum on Music in Vienna in April 2010, and took the opportunity the take a paper copy of the EMC Reader with them, commented on how beneficial and interesting they found it, and that it might be a useful resource to publish online, so here it is.
In the EMC Reader, we have gathered official documents, set of recommendations and reports from organisations such as UNESCO, the European Commission, the European Parliament as well as the EMC itself.
The Reader is split into four sections - General; Arts Education; Digital Environment; Other - and we hope that it provides a detailed and comprehensive collection of documents that reflect the aim and objectives, and concrete activities of the EMC and its member organisations.
