"Music on Troubled Soils" is the title of the conference that was hold by the EMC and the international section of the Israeli Music Council in Jerusalem on October 23rd - 26th 2008. "Access to Music - New perspectives in education, distribution and politics" were in the focus of the EMC Annual Conference that took place from April 17th - 20th 2008 in Brno, Czech Republic. The conference was organised in cooperation with the Czech Music Council and the Janáček Academy for Music and Performing Arts. More than 90 representatives from 24 European countries, Irael, Venezuela and Australia came to Brno to exchange their vision on the music life of the 21st century.
