The European Music Council held an Open Dialogue Meeting on the European Agenda for Music, which took place on Friday, 27 October, from 9.30 - 13.30 at the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice. We thank our member, the Polish Music Council, who cooperated with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and offered the meeting space.

The aim of this meeting was to present and discuss the new draft of the EAM (after the targeted consultation) and to launch the open consultation. The open consultation to the dew draft was launched after this meeting.


The meeting was annexed to the WOMEX, the international music meeting and conference World Music Exposition which took place in Katowice in Poland from the 25-29 October 2017. On Friday afternoon, Ruth Jakobi was also invited to present the EAM at one of the WOMEX conference sessions: Consultations, Campaigns: the music sector raises its voice! European Agenda for Music, Take a Stand, and more. Join the movements!
