Working Group Youth

The Working Group Youth is a network of young people, most between the age of 18 and 30, who are involved in all kinds of music throughout Europe.

Every 2 years a committee is elected which represents the network and works to put the goals of the WGY into practice. This does not mean, however, that only committee members are involved in the activities of the WGY: everyone is encouraged to take part!

At a network meeting in Cologne in December 2008 the following committee was elected for the period 2008-2010:

The chairperson represents the WGY in the Board of the EMC. Each member of the committee has their own area of responsibility, for instance in event organisation or communications.
