The European Union Youth Orchestra announces major 2015 Summer Tour:

  • Residencies at the Orchestra's Summer Home in Grafenegg, and with Residency Partner Bolzano Festival Bozen, in programmes of Mahler, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky & Verdi.
  •  Artists include the EUYO's first ever woman conductor, Xian Zhang, a much awaited return to the Orchestra for conductor Gianandrea Noseda, virtuoso 'cellist Alisa Weilerstein, & world renowned singers, Diana Damrau, Erika Grimaldi & Nicolas Testé.
  • Appearances include festivals in Amsterdam, Berlin, Bolzano, Edinburgh, Grafenegg, Ravello, Rheingau and Stresa, the European Music Campus with Grafenegg, Bolzano's Spazio Klassik, Popup concerts in Vienna, chamber music, & 'Late Night' performances.
  • 170 of Europe's finest young musicians, 28 nationalities, 21 expert international tutors, 17 performances in 5 countries.
