Film Festival At Wiener Rathausplatz 4 July - 6 September 2015 | Vienna, Austria That's it, we are ready to go: meet you up on Saturday, 4th July in front of Vienna's City Hall for the opening of the 25th edition of the Rathausplatz Film Festival! With Pink Floyd's "Delicate Sound Of Thunder" we are heading for 65 summer nights with a selection of outstanding films: classical, jazz, world and pop music alongside with classical ballet and contemporary dance.

Vienna Music Film Festival in Yekaterinburg 24 June - 11 July 2015 | Yekaterinburg, Russia This year in it's fifth edition, the open-air Vienna Music Film Festival in Yekaterinburg kicked off for 17 days of "watching music". Inspired by the Viennese Rathausplatz Film Festival this event has established itself as an essential one in the hot summers of the so called "Ural Mountain's capital".

Gioacchino Rossini - Aureliano In Palmira ARTHAUS MUSIK Aureliano in Palmira celebrated its first première on 26 December 1813 at the Scala in Milan. Soon afterwards the work was played in different theatres all over Europe. Nevertheless Rossini's piece fell into oblivion more and more compared to the great competitors like Tancredi or the Barber of Seville for which Rossini recycled musical parts of Aureliano.

William Walton - London Concert ARTHAUS MUSIK Sir William Walton is of one of Britain's best-loved twentieth-century composers. He wrote music in several classical genres and styles, from film scores to opera. Recorded live at London's Royal Festival Hall, in Walton's presence, the celebrated André Previn conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra.
