Two nights of the best new live music from the UK, France and Belgium plus one very full day of industry talks and discussions with a host of eminent guest speakers from across the music industry and the world of politics.

Gain insights into an ever changing industry, and grab the opportunity to network with peers and professionals. Topics will range from funding, finance, European and worldwide networks, new initiatives, strategies and future funding for the arts, digital, marketing, business, performing live, promotion, audiences, social inclusion, education, rights, royalties, film, TV, brands, bands, and fans. The focus will remain on the strength of independents.

What are the priorities within the new national funding agencies? How can you make brands work for you? How can you release your own music? How do you connect with an increasingly diverse industry whatever your age, demographic or style of music?

How can IC Music and similar EU programmes help you?
What is MIDA and how can it help you?
What are the long term aims of Music South West and who is the driving force behind it?
What are the professional networks that you can benefit from and how do you access them?
Did the London 2012 Olympic Games benefit emerging music? If so how? Can Rio 2016 benefit UK based emerging music? How?

Whether an aspiring or professional musician, label, publisher, promoter, training provider or teacher, artist manager, agent, video maker, or even just a fan of music wanting to know more about the industry, this is the event for you.

A networking dinner for a limited number of delegates will be held in the evening of 13th September after the talks and before the live music in the Phoenix main hall.
