AUSTRIAN COMPOSERS FUCHS, HAAS, AND REITER AT THE HUDDERSFIELD CONTEMPORARY MUSIC FESTIVAL
 

The Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival (HCMF) in northern England was founded in 1978 and is one of the most important festivals for contemporary music in Europe. Last November 39 concerts with 20 premieres were presented there. This year, as in previous years, countless Austrian ensembles and composers will be represented there. Including Georg Friedrich Haas, 2016’s composer in residence. There will also be works from the Erste-Bank Composition Prize winners Eva Reiter and Reinhard Fuchs. READ MORE

EUROPAVOX PROJECT: AN INTERVIEW WITH KATJA CLOT AND HANNES CISTOTA 

The Europavox-festival in Clermont-Ferrand, France celebrated its 10th Anniversary by expanding the format to encompass 6 further European cities. The internationally renowned showcase-festival from France made a guest appearance on the 4th of November in WUK with the EUROPAVOX PROJECT VIENNA 2016. The sold out debut-event highlighted the musical diversity in Europe by featuring the STEAMING SATELLITES (AT), OLIVIER HEIM (PL) und GIUNGLA (IT). 20 YEARS OF RADIAN: AN INTERVIEW WITH MARTIN SIEWERT AND MARTIN BRANDLMAYR 

RADIAN are considered pioneers of the Viennese electronic scene. For two decades this trio has dedicated themselves to the research and development of new electronic soundscapes.
