As part of the Access! –project, the WGY of the EMC developed the Manifesto for Youth and Music in Europe. This document is a result of consultation with many young Europeans from different backgrounds and interests within the music field on their needs and aspirations.

Now that the document has been finished, we want to spread it amongst individuals and music or youth organisations across Europe. In this way we hope to convince as many people as possible to support the initiative, and helps disseminate and adopt the Manifesto in all parts of the music sector across Europe.
In Autumn 2011, the Working Group Youth will get to present the Manifesto at the Committee on Culture and Education of the European Parliament. We know that the more supporters, the more noise we can make, and the easier we can convince high level politicians to listen to what we have to say and take our recommendations on board.
To do so, we need your help!
Young people can become Young Ambassador of the Manifesto for Youth and Music in Europe. You can even win free participation in the World Forum on Music in Tallinn (September 2011). All information about Young Ambassadors, how to become one and the competition can be found on the WGY’s forum.
