National Music Committee of Azerbaijan - NMC

The National Music Committee of Azerbaijan created in 2003 aims to assist the development and promotion of Azerbaijani national music both within the country and abroad. The Committee’s activities focus on various genres of Azerbaijani music, such as traditional music (mugham), composed music, and jazz. The NMC collaborates with the major music institutions in Azerbaijan and supports creative and educational initiatives that introduce Azerbaijani music and musicians.
