In April 2008 at the EMC Annual Conference in Brno, Czech Republic, the WGY continued its tradition of organising an ice-breaker game for the first evening of the event and also held its own meeting during the week-end through which many new network members were recruited. The WGY also gavegives their yearly report on their activities at the annual meeting and presented future WGY projects to the board. In Brno also WGYs former longtime chairperson Petra Mohorcic was elected to the EMC board with a great support of all member organisations.
