The European Choral Association, the European Music Council and the Schumannfest Bonn invite you to their anniversary concert on 1 June 2023, 19.00 CEST, in Bonn. Two European music organisations based in Bonn are celebrating an anniversary this year: The European Choral Association is turning 60 years old; the European Music Council was founded around 50 years ago as Regional Group of the International Music Council (IMC) and established 20 years as NGO in Bonn.
We are delighted that the Schumannfest will celebrate this anniversary with us in their opening concert on 1 June.
The Netherlands Student Chamber Choir and Yma America (singer) with Julio Almeida (guitarist) will present a diverse programme. The concert will take place in the Kreuzbergkirche in Bonn followed by a small reception. Entrance to the concert is free.

This year the European Music Council (EMC) celebrates a special anniversary. 20 years ago, on 8 March 2003, the EMC was registered as a non-profit association at the Bonn District Court and around 50 years ago (1972), it was founded as the regional group for Europe of the International Music Council (IMC).
