International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music - CIME-ICEM

The objective of the Confederation is to promote electroacoustic music internationally:

• by providing opportunities for the creation of new works;

• by encouraging production, creation, and research, the diffusion of pieces, pedagogy, contact between professionals (composers, researchers, performers, teachers), and the dissemination and communication of knowledge and electroacoustic techniques;

• by organizing collaborations among national bodies and international organizations with regard to the above-mentioned objectives.

It will promote this aim by all means at its disposal, through the free movement of ideas and people, with respect for the equality of the rights of composers and the right of free expression of their national cultures.
