Live Music Now Scotland - LMNS

Live Music Now was established in the 1970s in London by Yehudi Menuhin and is now the foremost musicians’ development and outreach organisation in the UK, as well as existing in a number of other European countries. Musicians are selected by audition and are specially trained to work in a variety of settings in the areas of health and wellbeing, with adults and children both with and without special needs. Live Music Now Scotland works with over 100 musicians across a range of musical genres in delivering around 750-800 participatory performances and workshops in schools, hospitals, care homes and other community settings each year across the length and breadth of the country, as well as public performances for the National Galleries of Scotland, National Museums of Scotland, St Magnus Festival, East Neuk Festival and the Cumnock Tryst amongst others.
