The Ultimate Cookbook for Cultural Managers: The EU Green Deal and Live Performance Organisations - Update 2026

Pearle* and the European Festivals Association (EFA) have released the 2026 update of The Ultimate Cookbook for Cultural Managers, offering practical guidance on EU climate policies and their implications for the live performance sector.

Originally published in 2023, The Ultimate Cookbook for Cultural Managers: The EU Green Deal and Live Performance Organisations helps cultural organisations understand EU climate goals and identify relevant Green Deal initiatives to integrate sustainability into their daily activities.

The 2026 update reflects recent developments in EU climate policy, including new initiatives and the European Commission’s Omnibus simplification packages, which aim to reduce administrative burdens and strengthen competitiveness.

The publication is developed through the ongoing cooperation between Pearle* and the European Festivals Association (EFA), as part of the Creative Europe-supported Care for and Share the Alliance project (2025–2028).
