Engaging with Music explores music listeners’ habits in 2023, across 26 markets – exploring how and when people listen to music; listeners’ views on music and artificial intelligence; how music supports our physical and mental well being; purchasing habits and the genres people are engaging with.

Culture and creative sectors and industries driving green transition and facing the energy crisis
In this report, cultural experts analyse ways and opportunities to speed up the green transition and to address the energy crisis in and through the cultural and creative sectors and industries (CCSI). The three main questions tackled in the report are: How can European policies and programmes support CCSI across Europe to help people envision and build a thriving and enticing world? How might EU policy, programming, approaches and strategies effectively integrate culture and creativity as a driver of sustainability across other industries, in accordance with the SDGs?
European Green Festival Roadmap 2030
This roadmap aims to give European festivals and events a reliable guide for sustainable actions, including measures they will need to accomplish the inevitable process of transformation until the end of the decade.
The status and working conditions of artists and cultural professionals
The OMC group worked in a cross-sectoral way and included experts in the field of culture as well as experts in areas of employment and social and economic affairs, and included experts from all 27 Member States. It was convened by the European Commission in 2021–2023 and in 6 plenary meetings and many exchanges in between formulated a set of recommendations to advance further policy learning and development.
Spektrum der Musikverbände
Around 400 organisations, associations and companies are involved in music life in Germany with a national and in some cases international focus. What are the focal points of their activities? The “Spektrum der Musikverbände” is broad: it ranges from small associations dedicated to individual instruments or composers to large associations that represent the interests of entire professional groups or sectors.
